Press Time, Relax Time, Go Time!

Yesterday was a busy yet relaxing day.

We had our first press conference and it went really smooth- no hard questions =) ! This was the first time in the main media center. As soon as we walked in, one could feel a whole different atmosphere; cameras, people with their note pads and recorders. Just media. It was pretty cool.

Yesterday was also an off day for me and I took advantage of the down time and played video games, foosball and shuffle board with teammate Jonathan Kuck. Good times.

There was a great Super Bowl party in one of the hang out places called The Living Room. Isn't that a great name? It's a big red barn that has TV's, video games, board games and a lot of other things. They even have a pool table, which I played with Jilleanne Rookard and shamefully, I lost! (That is ok!) Haha.

I had a chance to walk around the village other night with Jill and took some pictures of the night scene. It really is beautiful seeing the GM Dome at night all lit up with changing colors! We could also see the Whistler Village up on the mountain with lights. So cool!

And finally, my coach Paul Marchese has arrived in town! I am really excited to have him here. The first of many of my friends and family to come to Vancouver. Now it is really time to get down to business (insert evil laugh).

Only a week until my first race and my family arrives!!!

Keep it Positive!!!
